Salah started a trend in the 2024-25 campaign of clicking a selfie with a Liverpool team-mate who scored in a particular game for the Reds, and then posting the photograph on Instagram. On Sunday, during the club's thumping 5-1 win over Tottenham, which sealed the Merseyside club's 20th English top-flight title, the Egyptian scored his team's fourth goal of the evening. The attacker immediately rushed towards the Kop and clicked a selfie with the fans to make the moment memorable.

With the strike against Spurs at Anfield, Salah went past Sergio Aguero's tally to become the highest scoring overseas player in the Premier League's history with 185 goals to his name. Only Alan Shearer, Harry Kane, Wayne Rooney and Andy Cole are now above the Egypt international in the list of all-time top scorers in the league.
